Mr. Teshome trained in medicine in Ethiopia and worked as a clinician and medical school clinical instructor before he moved to the United States in 2003. In 2004, he joined Dr. Clifford’s neurology research team as a research assistant and received protocol specific training on neuromedical examinations and laboratory tests. Since 2006, he has been a site coordinator of the CHARTER study (CNS HIV Anti-Retroviral Therapy Effects Research). The CHARTER study is a multisite longitudinal research project sponsored by NIH/NIMH/NINDS. Currently he is also working as a site coordinator for NeuroNEXT whose PI is Dr. David Clifford.
