Ms. Sauerbeck is an Assistant Professor of Research had been coordinating and managing all aspects of neurological research for the past 19 years. She has participated in over 20 neurological trials including acute interventional trials, epidemiological, biomarker and genetic studies. She has been instrumental in all areas of trial development and management, including the Genetic and Environmental Risk Factors for Hemorrhagic Stroke, Genetic Risk Factors for Ruptured and Unruptured Cerebral Aneurysms and Recanalization Therapies and Markers of Stroke Outcome studies. Most recent is the NINDS funded Familial Intracranial Aneurysm Study (phase I & II) for which she is the clinical manager overseeing the protocol development, regulatory compliance, recruitment, monitoring site performance and improvement at 26 sites in North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
