Jamie Roberts, MA, CCRP, is a Clinical Trial Specialist in Recruitment in the NINDS Office of Clinical Research. Prior to joining NINDS, Ms. Roberts worked for Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida for 11 years. For the past 5 years she served as a Protocol Development Coordinator for the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC), where she was responsible for developing, facilitating and implementing cancer treatment protocols. Prior to joining the MCCCC, she was the Director of Recruitment for the NINDS funded Carotid Revascularization Endarterectomy vs. Stenting Trial (CREST). She has been certified by the Society of Clinical Research Associates as a Certified Clinical Research Professional since 2005. While at Mayo Clinic Ms. Roberts also served on the Institutional Review Board, Ethics Committee and Interdisciplinary Palliative Care Team.
Ms. Roberts’ early career was in vocational nursing. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from the University of North Florida and master’s degree in Bioethics and Health Policy from the Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.
