Mr. Peters is an IT Manager in the CTSDMC with 20 years of experience with database development and maintenance for supporting multi-center clinical trials. He will serve as the Team Leader of the IT/Development Team. He will have overall supervisory responsibility for all team members. Mr. Peters will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and operation of database, application and server management systems for approved projects. He will be involved with the conceptual phase of each project to discuss any protocol-specific needs or tasks that might require additional effort or specialized skills for implementation. He will work with the Data Management team to develop user specifications and create a user friendly interface for data entry systems. Mr. Peters will ensure that the software and database conforms to standards set by FDA, including 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines.
