Ms. Pathak is serving as a Clinical research coordinator for NeuroNEXT and working on other NINDS co-funded project at Children’s National Medical Center. She was trained in medicine in India with a MBBS degree equivalent to MD and has worked as a house officer for a year in India. During medical school she published a peer reviewed article. She has assisted in some retrospective studies in Endocrinology at Children’s National medical center and submitted an abstract and poster prior to joining Dr. Packer’s Neuro-oncology research team as a Clinical Research Assistant under the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium where she works on various clinical trials. Her duties include reviewing medical records, extracting necessary data (eligibility, diagnosis, laboratory results, and adverse events) and updating databases, modifying databases and monitoring for adverse reactions, preparing reports, charts and graphs for publication.
