Dr. Henson is the Director of Neurology at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute and has a broad background in medicine and neurology, with specific training and expertise in neuro-oncology. As a clinical fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, he participated in BTCG trials in malignant glioma. He also developed an NIH-funded laboratory at MGH to study JC virus early gene regulation. As director of the Brain Tumor Center at MGH, he participated in numerous clinical trials for malignant glioma through the NABTT consortium as the site principle investigator or co-investigator, as well as performing laboratory studies of clinical-genetic correlations. Currently at SNI, Dr Henson is the principle investigator on five clinical trials in neuro-oncology through the RTOG consortium and with industry partners.
